Activity description

Take time to admire from the sky the Bay of Arcachon and the famous Dune du Pilat on a microlight flight from Bordeaux!

Departing from Léognan, south of Bordeaux, this multiaxis microlight flight over the Bay of Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat will give you a memorable aerial experience. Comfortably seated aboard a multiaxis microlight, an aircraft similar to a small passenger plane but with room for only 2 people (a pilot and a passenger), you will enjoy a guided flight over the Bay of Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat, taking in some magnificent scenery.

With a qualified professional pilot at the controls of the microlight, you will enjoy a 1 hour flight in complete safety. You will be able to admire the Atlantic coast coming closer and closer before your very eyes as you fly until the microlight reaches the Bay of Arcachon: the town of Arcachon, the Ile aux Oiseaux in the heart of the bay, the beaches of Cap-Ferret, the Dune du Pilat and the Banc d'Arguin will all appear to you from an unprecedented angle! Then, on your return, a breathtaking panorama of Bordeaux awaits you to round off this microlight flight in the Bay of Arcachon in the most beautiful way.

Course of events

- Meeting with the pilot at the UAD Aéroservices hangar

- Briefing about the microlight and safety

- Boarding the machine

- 1 hour microlight flight over the Bay of Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat

- Return to the aerodrome and reception of your first flight diploma to end the activity

A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity.

This activity is extremely weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Also, times may vary according to the weather: please contact the pilot by phone the day before your flight to confirm with him your schedule time.

One person at a time in the microlight (in addition to the pilot): if you have booked for 2 people, you will fly in the microlight one after the other.
